Are you looking for a way to get more involved at UT Dallas, grow as a leader and give back to the campus community? Then this is the position for you.

Student Transition Programs is looking for students who are enthusiastic, energetic, professional and knowledgeable about The University of Texas at Dallas to serve as the next class of Orientation Leaders during the summer months.

What is an Orientation Leader?

Orientation Leaders serve as a pivotal part of the new student experience by welcoming students and their family members to campus during Freshman Orientation, where these students learn about both the academic and student experience here at UT Dallas. As a member of the orientation team you will serve as a representative of the institution, assist during the enrollment process and help students transition to college.

Orientation Leaders also serve as a mentor and familiar face throughout a student’s first year at UT Dallas, and are often recognized by students all over campus during the academic school year. Being an Orientation Leader is a great way for any student to grow as a communicator, leader, problem solver and change agent on campus. Additionally, our Orientation leaders may assist with a number of departmental programs such as Road Warriors, Comet Camp, Comet Families and more.

One Team. Limitless Impact.
